Running ToDo List for Docs Site

Use this page to make note of future changes that will need to be made, additions, etc., to the docs site.

Remember to reference the Synapse Documentation Style Guide, Contributor Guide, and Administrators Guide (if applicable) for technical and writing style instructions.

Simply delete any items from the list below once they have been dealt with.

Trash can

• New item being added to the Synapse toolbar. Currently in experimental mode. Release date TBD.

• This will affect the page Navigating Synapse. Changes to be made:

  • Update the image under the Synapse Toolbar section

    • New image can be found here

  • Add trash can as an item to the toolbar descriptions below the image

Wording around independent users

• There is currently discussion around how to present information regarding independent Synapse users

• Sage doesn’t necessarily want to discourage users from using it, but doesn’t have the capacity to support the number of independent users that it currently hosts

• More information on this issue can be found in this document
