The app is directly linked to the NF Data Portalstudies on Synapse, so data in the app reflects the same data in the NF Data Portal, in real time. In other words, any time data is added to the portal, the app will be updated to show that new data. There is no regular schedule by which data in the portal itself gets uploaded.Synapse, updated daily.

It looks like the publication status of projects in projectLive is not updated or does not match
or link together with NF Data Portal. Why?

Publications in projectLive are updated daily, and reflect the information that Sage gathers using semi-automated methods of scanning acknowledgements of NTAP funded researchers.

...

Sage scans publication repositories (like Pubmed) for acknowledgements of the funding sources in a semi-automated manner. If a publication lists acknowledges your organization or grant ID, they are added to projectLIVE. The publication count in projectLIVE is updated daily from the information that has been gathered. Any publications that do not reference the organization or grant ID may be missing. Please contact nf-osi@sagebionetworks.org if you think a publication is missing.

When is the “Sage internal milestone or progress report tracking” section updated?

For "Internal internal milestone" tracking, projectLive updates daily for PIs studies whose data sharing plans have been added to Synapse and updated. Addition of new data sharing plans occur once every 6 months. Changes or updates to milestones or data sharing plans more recent than the last 6 months . It is possible that the information we have on our end is out of date due to recent changes in the milestones/data sharing plansmay not be reflected in the tracker yet.

How can I find all the completed studies in a specific initiative in my funding portfolio?

You can find this information in the Participating Studies module. Please type in “completed” in the Search box on top in Section 1 table. This will highlight all studies with Study Status labeled as “completed”. You can also click twice on the arrow heads on the side of “Study Status” column name to sort the table with completed studies on top.
