Current status: we have no services running on Google Appengine at this time

App Engine Administration

We are "trusted testers" for Google's new app engine Enterprise Domain Console (set up as of 01/10/2011) and SQL service (should be set up some time this week 1/10/2011).

You can access the administrative console for our apps at http://appengine.google.com/a/sagebionetworks.com

...

Also note that the "version" for an app deployed to appengine can be a string or a number. Therefore we might have:

  • platform.apps.sagebionetworks.com - live
    • what the public sees
  • gamma.platform.apps.sagebionetworks.com - pre-prod
    • what we are about to launch to to prod
    • Sage employees do QA here
  • beta.platform.apps.sagebionetworks.com - integration environment
    • what we are about to release for QA
    • platform engineers do integration testing here
  • (deflaux|hill|hoff).platform.apps.sagebionetworks.com - developer environments
    • where developers can deploy in-progress (broken stuff) and not worry about disrupting anyone else's work
