Challenge Organizers and Participants alike will use the Discussion Board to post updates, ask questions, seek team members, etc. Each Challenge will have its own Discussion Board.

• Aim to respond within 24 hours if a participant posts during the work week, or by Monday 5PM if a participant posts during the weekend. Near the end of the Challenge, there may be a sudden influx of posts and questions; consider setting up Office Hours and/or plan with the Organizers who can help having someone on-call to monitor the board until the Evaluation Queues have closed.

• When responding to a post, we recommend tagging the original poster (OP) so that they receive an email notification of the response. This is done by entering @ followed by the Synapse username, e.g. Hello @vchung, ...Any post that is related to the Challenge data will be the Challenge research scientists' and data contributors' responsibility. If you notice a data-related post has not been answered within a day, notify and/or forward the request to the appropriate Organizers .Any post that is related to invalid submissions and/or other technical difficulties will be on whoever set up the infrastructure (Sage, most of the time). If the topic is about an invalid submission, you can get more details about the error by looking at the queue’s SubmissionView, granted that one has been created. Errors are generally listed under submission_errors.

Dear @AwesomeChallengeParticipants,

Thank you all for efforts and active participation in the <Challenge Name>! You've all done amazing work.

The last step is to document your submission by completing a writeup. Your writeup must also include the Docker image(s) you've submitted to the <Evaluation Queue Names> queue(s). Only one writeup is needed per team.

This is a friendly reminder that in order to be considered for byline authorship and/or top-performer, your writeup must be submitted to the <Writeup Queue Name> queue by <deadline date and time>.
