We created this app so that you could have a straightforward look into all of the outputs that have been generated for your organization via the NF Data Portal. All of the data hosted within this app is pulled directly from the portal—it simply provides an overview of that data, presented as visualizations in the form of bar plots.
Please note that the app is designed to show you a “snapshot” of your organization’s initiatives—a way to see an overview of the studies, programs, and publications that your organization has funded, all in one place. For a more granular look at the actual files and data contained within these Funding organizations impact the research environment through their support of various innovative studies. The data generated in these studies can be an important way to track the progress of the studies under a funding initiative. ProjectLive is designed to help our external and internal partners track the progress of each study present on the NF Data Portal through simple visualizations of yearly or monthly tracking of upload and annotation of data files generated in the study.

ProjectLive can help you track progress of your organization’s funding at various levels of granularity and aspects using the following top level modules:
SNAPSHOT: This module provides a bird's eye view of the organization's funding structure and activity in the funded studies year over year through various summary level statistics.PUBLICATIONS: This module is focused on longitudinal tracking of the publications associated with the studies funded through an organization.PARTICIPATING STUDIES: This module provides focused information about individual studies with a high level of granularity ranging from tracking the annotation status of uploaded files to tracking of upload activity as it relates to the study's expected milestones.NEW SUBMISSIONS: This module provides a list of all newly uploaded files within the lastnnumber of days (you can pick the window of time).

The ProjectLIVE app features four modules: Snapshot, Publications, Participating Studies, and New Submissions. Please see the top of the application (just below the url ) to find these top level modules. Clicking on each of the module names will take you to the individual module.
Snapshot module
This module is designed to provide you with an overview of the organization’s current and past initiatives. It’s a clear, “snapshot” glance of all the studies your organization has funded. You can see the total number of studies, files, samples, and publications, by year, and by study. This module does not provide details on individual files themselves. You can access the actual files through the data portal.
