After seeing the new org pages (https://nf.synapse.org/Organizations/DetailsPage?abbreviation=GFF), GFF provided a white logo that we could use instead. I agree with them that it would look better, but it doesn't appear to be hosted anywhere (i've attached the png they provided below:
I can't, therefore, add the url to the Organizations table (https://www.synapse.org/#!Synapse:syn16858699/tables/). Do you have a recommendation for what I should do here? I'm guessing that the images aren't actually dynamically retrieved from the url in the table, so maybe I don't actually need a url for this logo.
Staging NF site should be updated shortly.
Thanks, Jay, that’s awesome! Looks great. If you have time to push to production, the rest of the portal looks good (ie unchanged) to me!
Just to double check - should I add src/configurations/nf/synapseConfigs/icons/GFF.png to the portals - organizations table? Is tracking the logo information there useful/helpful?
Deployed nf staging to prod.
The state of the logo urls in nf is interesting.
I think I'm using an old iconOptions prop to control this on the org details page main card, but if I removed the iconOptions prop then it may just use the results from the table query. In fact, the nf home page iconOptions is not provided for those org cards, and they are using your logo urls!
That’s interesting, I guess I didn’t realize that! When I last changed the URL in the table it didn’t look like anything on the portal changed - but maybe I was looking at the wrong thing
