Remove max-width restriction from Files tab

A while back we put in the max width for the portal of 1440px. This did and still does make sense for most pages. However, after playing with the new portal, Files / Data pages that simply have a large table with facets and graphs could actually be a great candidate to remove that restriction. This would give people the most possible real estate when browsing all the data. We could easily go 4 maybe even 5 graphs across, and show a wide table.

Technically, it could be as simple as taking that css restriction off for certain tabs (Data on AMP, Files CSBC etc.). To play with it, simply turn this css off:

Note: we'd need to tweak some behaviors as charts don't scale great at this point.

Hi & , I have removed the max width restriction on the explore pages and study details page on staging. Example:

Hi , I don’t think I need anything from you. I can work on this. Thanks.

to allow for something like this, do you need anything from me or are you able to change the css without a mock up?

Over to Stockard, to be implemented as part of study details explore 2.0 implementation.

I’m on a 13 inch macbook air on “default” resolution, which “looks like” 1440x900 (i’m assuming some multiple of that). There’s no effect with that setting.

If I change the setting to “more space” which “looks like” 1680x1050, this setting does make a difference, though it changes to from what I consider to be too small to (with this setting off) the same as it looks on my screen at the default resolution. Guess this will be very system+hardware dependent!
