Collaborator from MSK cannot reset password. username - grossb1

Description

He says, theres nothing in spam and he does not get an email. please assist.

He says maybe MSK is vetting the email before delivering, but not sure if this is actually the case.

Edit . I can't seem to reproduce the issue, I get an email right away which means it could be MSK vetting the email?

you did not say explicitly but suggest that the user forgot their password. Is that the case? If not, they can log in, visit the 'settings' tab of their home page, and change their password there.

: Based on the error in the screenshot, it may be the case that the current user password is not strong enough so Synapse is forcing a password reset.

From his messages, it seems like Synapse isn't letting him login and has the message "You must change your password via email reset".

Does synapse force you to change passwords?

From our collaborator:

The synapse no-reply email was coming to me, but was getting blocked by MSK spam filter. I was able to whitelist the synapse email address and just now I resent my pw. I’m into the system now. Thanks for the follow-up.
